SUPPLEMENT DURING PREGNANCY


New Obimin (since second trimester)
Calcium (since second trimester)
Vitamin C (since third trimester)
Neurogain (since third trimester)

Kalau tak pregnant, punyalah liat nak makan ubat-- langsung tak pernah disiplin.
Tapi demi baby, semua supplement yang obgyn suruh consume-- tiap hari tak pernah skip. Lol

I bought VCO already. But according to my obgyn it is safer jika makan after 35 weeks of pregnancy. Katanya, takut baby distress and to avoid bersalin before you reach full-term.
Obgyn juga bagi advice jangan simply minum air selusuh or akar fatimah, again with the same reason, takut baby lemas.

Additional info:
Nasihat given by 3 doctors including my obgyn. During pregnancy, if you are down with demam, hanya Paracetamol (Panadol) yang selamat dimakan. Even to treat cramps, bisa kaki, sakit belakang, sakit pungkoq ke, Paracetamol juga jawapannya. Strictly NO Ponstan.

Untuk batuk, doc kata the safest for pregnant women is Prospan (Ivy leaves).
Selsema & Gatal2, Piriton sahaja. NO zyrtec (nampak je kecil, but harmful to your unborn child). Talk to your GP or obgyn sebelum makan apa2 ubat ya.. jangan simply beli ubat over the counter.

  1. yes betul, VCO consume bile dah cukup bulan. like me terberanak at 33 weeks sbb gune vco tu sapu kt bawah, so baby premature.

  2. Pn Daisy: Thank you for sharing your personal experience, dear! Tu la, bila tanya kawan2 ada yg ckp makan dari 30w, ada yg dari awal pregnant dah makan, sbb ragu2, i tanya obgyn. Thank god... hujungnyabaik kita bertanya pada yg pakar kan?
