COMBAT BOOTS!
hey hey! i can't resist these pretty lace up-military boots! very rugged indeed.
i have two of em; brown & black.
and so gonna bring them to Japan since i don't wear fancy shoes as in boots here in Malaysia.
I love to wear em with a floral dress.
a denim skirt & over the knee socks.
and also a pair of skinny jeans (pray my thigh won't grow any bigger)
woot!

TOKYO HONEYMOON!
Hey!
7days to go, and we can't wait.
we wanted to book a hotel for our stay ---- but we're very much confuse whether to invest or not:-
1) Villa Fontaine Hakozaki
Near TCAT, very near to Suitengumae Station. Located in Hakozaki, near Nihonbashi ( where Tokyo Station is situated). At the moment, there's a promotion going on. RM203 per night! cheap ain't it?! ... BUT it's 20mins train journey to Shibuya and Shinjuku. We're afraid Hakozaki city dies at night :(
2) Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku
In the district of Shinjuku. 3mins walk to Shinjuku JR Station. 7-eleven, shopping malls, and coffee houses around. almost 10 halal restaurants in the district if Shinjuku/Shibuya. Beautiful Gardens -- Shinjuku Gyonmae and Yogoyi Park.
CURRENT PRICE: RM353. including tax: RM409.
i know the first choice is way cheap compare to our second choice. but it's our honeymoon right? why don't we spend a lil bit more, so we have a pleasant stay during our bulan madu... tapi takut pulak pegi jalan2 sampai tengah malam, hotel tidur 6jam je sehari membazir.
both hotels have direct limousine bus from Haneda Airport--- to TCAT ... and to Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku.
so i need ur opinion especially from friends/bloggers staying in Japan or have been to Japan before.
- should i go for a cheaper hotel but far away from Shinjuku/Shibuya?
- should i gor for a slightly expensive hotel in Shinjuku?
which one yang access nya lebih baik?
Tell me, i wanna know! :))

MISS X RECEPTION: INVITATION CARD
hye girls!
so.... i don't have a professional shot of my invitation card.
the photo above, taken by my husband's big boss who loves the card so much and can't help herself capturing the invitation-c.
i'm very much happy with the outcome of my wedding invitation.
always wanted something different and something some friends would keep.
(i notice most of my colleagues still have my invitation on they're table *proud* )
so i had my wedding invitation handmade by Dococards in Jakarta.
i'm not proud that it's expensive.
neither saying it's cheap.
i know some j-rude folks will go "kat sana murah gila kan?"
but then i appreciate sincere and polite questions "ok tak the price?"
the invitation doesn't come cheap.
Dococard is a handmade wedding invitation boutique.
they made pretty cards for those who appreciate invitation cards (as much as they appreciate their guests)
.. and cik puan muda julita made her wedding invitation there too.
but definitely the expensive range and very beautiful.
my card middle-price range. still affordable.
well, i made a pact not to order invitation more than RM3...
and yes, i did not cross the line... but my mum did!
but anyway. with their great service, i won't complaint :)
1) Ordered 30th May 2011
2) draft sent 2 times in June (first draft, and 2nd with amendments)
3) they sent mock cards!!! yesss couriered all the way... with 2 cover colors and 2 box colors for me to choose. real cards! so i can see the end product. so WE picked blue and let them know our decision so they can start printing and making 'em.
4) 15th July, they mailed --- the cards are ready!
5) we flew to Jakarta on July 29th to collect my invitation card!
simple :)
so yes, please consider dococards if u're looking for something different.
hapuskan fikiran " ala, orang buang jugak wedding card. rugi je buat mahal-mahal"
NO. NO. NO.
think positive " i appreciate my guests, i want to see their happy faces receiving the invitations, and i want them to remember that they're invited to the auspicious occasion" ... that's how~ :)

SAKURA in TOKYO
Sakura or Cherry Blossom in Tokyo---
Forecast says the opening of the beauty 31st March, but via the internet some blogs said that the buds masih tight.
And due to the long winter n cold weather they expect Japan cherry blossom first opening akan terlewat sikit, 6th April. And full bloom around 13-15th April.
So, i'll be in Tokyo on April 24th. As for me and hubby lagi lambat, lagi bagus. so i sempat witness the full bloom ... Or else i have to go to Matsumoto.
Friends in Tokyo or recently went to tokyo, sekarang belum sakura lagi in Tokyo kan? Pls share. :))
