MISS X NIKAH: PHOTOGRAPHER (PHOTOS)

hye all!

i think my loyal readers sure know i hired the talented Bak aka Bakri Hafiz Hisham for my wedding. he is very friendly, and baik.... so tak sampai hati nak marah tho he's late ;p ....i have not received my album yet (not his fault)... i yang tak pilih lagi gambar2 yg i suka. :) bak actually uploaded my photos a week or two after event. cepat sgt sgt!

with bak, i can be very honest. i told him i want kurus pictures. saya suka ilusi kurus ;p *wanita indenial* haha i sure pick all kurus photos and non-lemak bulging pictures to squeeze in my w-album. so i don't care.. tho the photos include lovely people in my life, i'll definitely say goodbye to 'em if myself looks like a hyppo in it. (they can view dekat my laptop for more pictures haha).... i know,i know--- i am mean. but ya. thanxbye. :)

hiring bak--- i would say, sangat easy to deal with. i'm the fussy type but i can handle all discussion with vendors via mail. i don't know, but i just trust the technology. i don't go vendors-bugging, make many appointments in order to make decisions. i just mailed 5-10 times, ask for their acc number and bank in the amount.i believe my own eyes to decide and do judgement. so ya, i hired bak sebab bak punya PR sangat superb (cepat reply email walaupun busy) ... he's so kind,sweet and talented. (puji melambung mana tau dapat free mini clip waktu honeymoon... haha)

i am so lucky. bak's friends tag along too! ichi, haziq and khalisah. (reception another team, but definitely bak as the chief la kan? .... nanti i review in another post ya?)...

anyway, i don't mind bak's friends to tag along and publish my photos because they're all soooooo talented. they get to capture gambar, i get a few photos... all of them, masing2 ada skill and trademark sendiri --- angles, shots, color.

one thing about bak and his friends, they're kinda quiet. (tapi suara bak je saya dengar, kadang2). but kata orang, diam2 ubi berisi. gambar each and every one of them sangat superb.

cuma saya sedih no one tegur my veil jatuh, and my hair dah kena peluh waktu outdoor photoshoot. i hope bak will photoshop the hair/veil area, duplicate warna veil... yahoo!

i hired 'my-kinda' photographer.

told ya that i'm very very particular about techniques.

ya,

i'm not sure the kind of colour-grading he used to edit the dreamy photos of one's big day.

but for sure, it's all pretty and worth it.

i love details. you know, small little things like flower pots?

at the same time, i love moments.

i love photos of my thang, you know--- my baju, henna, ring, shoes, veil. all in CLOSE-UPs :0

ok, selfish alert. i know.

but ya, i am ;p

i want all little details in my wedding book.

and that dreamy effect, that little things, moments ALL in the package.

so, i chose Bak Hafiz. I believe in him, like seriously.

tak puas promote bak lagi ni.

Yeah! Serious best!
His pictures are great, he can work the photos out with white background! (Mind u, not all photographers pandai amik gambar with white deco/background, apatah lagi if bride pakai baju putih. Ada technique to make the bride standout dan tidak jadi mcm sesumpah dgn backdrop putih di belakang.)
Seriously, saya sangat particular bab technical.

And guess what, he has all the criterias:
- skills n techniques
- editing is very subtle, natural n glowy
- shots are creative without neglecting the sweet moments
- humble n friendly
- tak berkira langsung!
- his photos are beautiful and portrays a hardworking photographer

- he's new n fresh (from the oven hahahaha)
- he talks my language :)
- I love intelligent people. Hey he studied architecture! (Penting to me org yg bijak sikit ni. To me la.. Just my 2cents)some photographers are skillful but bila bercakap je, it irks me until I can die while sleeping coz telinga bernanah terngiang-ngiang rempitness talk. No.
-RATE IS SERIOUSLY REASONABLE
*starts from rm1800 per event. Take more events-- can nego the $$$.

He has it all. Skillful macam yang dah kerja 10years.. PR sgt bagus. Very prompt in replying mails and sms. Like seriously, he can reply the annoying me like everyday. So-- I like him. (I always pretend fussy with vendors to see how they can handle the pressure coming. Hahahaha)
Tak diva, tak berkira, open to suggestions, straight forward, honest and reliable.
Ok, I like him! (As my photographer)

I hired him for 3events of mine! And deposit he mintak RM500 only :)
Best kan? Photographer lain suka nak mintak 2ribu kan??!
