WEDDING SPY!

Cewah! konon jek i punye title tu. totally spies sgt kan? but anyway, being an obsess bride to be i suke E-MAIL / CALL/ MEET UP this and that fella/vendor. tujuannya untuk survey, u know... it's our money, our day-- we sure want the best kan??!

So today, sbg 'bridespy' (ceeeehhh! ;p) i nak reveal all contacts yg i dah mail/call/jumpe... please share your thoughts too.i'll be glad to hear from you. ecececeh! (tiba-tiba rasa this spying thing macam bang2 bang boom/wakenabeb etc...ala-ala nasib kau la kau taktau aku akan reveal benda ni kan? u people deserve these comments be it good or bad for your own attitude.)
**segala keputusan yang saya buat adalah my own judgment. smue orang ada own preference kan? just my 2 cents)

+++MAILED/ CALLED+++

canopy/caterer:
1) Khareyan events: prompt reply. sangat professional. a bit pricey but they have real good service. if you have lots of $ go for them.
2) Suri catering: 2 times e-mail dorg baru reply.... but felt better when i called dorg terus buat quotation and mailed me that point of time jugak.
3) NSJ events: sampai ke sudah tak reply. mungkin dorang layan through phone calls je kot.
4) Rassweddings: seriously dissapointing. i siap kira ok---- 2kali email, 2kali call, lebih 7 sms--- everytime kak suhaila to promise to hantar quotation but sampai ke sudah tak hantar. dah sebulan kot!
5) Belanga Catering: Datin tu baik tapi ala2 confuse sikit... blur jek. sampai sekarang tak hantar quotation. 3 kali remind her, tak hantar jugak.frustrating.
6) Izzah Catering: murah tapi tak convincing. mintak itu ini, semue bende kene check and call later. PR tak cukup hebat.

DECISION: SURI CATERING

designer/dressmaker:
1) Nik Erwan Roseli: reply mail yang ramah dan juga menjawab panggilan phone dengan ramah. harga berpatutan. kualiti sila tanye yang pernah mencuba.
2) Arma Couture: ramah ketika i buat phone call tapi harga tak sesuai dengan mereka yang baru bertapak. lagi mahal dari nik erwan roseli ok? jauh lebih mahal!
3) Rizman Ruzaini: e-mail dijawab ringkas tapi menjawab soalan. panggilan telefon dijawab dengan ramah. good service, ask me to call em up and go their boutique in cheras to discuss. mummy X wants me to buat baju with them but my heart jatuh cinta with unaisah.
4) Unaisah: yes unaisah. i tak kenal dia, macam mana muka dia dan benar2 kualiti dia menjahit camane. tapi hati i sejuk coz she's really kind and polite replying every single mail i sent to her with good advises.
5) Aznizam Yusof: reply yang ringkas dan menjawab soalan.
6) Syaiful Baharim: tak reply langsung. mungkin suka deal through telephone or teros to his boutique kot.
7) Zery Zamry: replied my mail and bagitau price range. ask me to call him for further discussion.

DECISION: (undecided) my choice- UNAISAH / Mummy's choice- RIZMANRUZAINI/ good friends choice- NIK ERWAN ROSELI

photographer:
1) ted: paling baik. saya suka.
2) syahrin aziz: langsung tak reply my mail. maybe dia jenis suka org call kot.
3) jangguttouch: replied. tapi wajib amik package.
4) pretty peektures: yang ini lawak ok??! waktu i mail pakai email ngokngek i, dia siap perli i macamla i ni orang takde duit. when i email with my official mail (biase2 je, tak seberapa) terus ramah nak mampos ok??! i terus tak layan. lantak hang.
5) jay ismail: mestila dia layan saya. saya cousin dia ;)

DECISION: TED

+++JUMPA (misc.)+++
***take note--- saya pakai no brand t-shirt,no brand denim,slippers (yes!slippers ok?!) and tak make-up ;) saje buat begitu. handbag juga yg cikai. Mr. X juga diarah selekeh.
1) Fidz Collection: budak2 dia takde PR skill yg bagus but mata i senang memandang hasil2 kerja dorang.... cantik2.
2) Arma Couture (waktu pameran pengantin kat shah alam): good. walaupon saya selekeh dia masih melayan soalan2 saya. waktu call ramah tapi tekejut dengar harganya but bila jumpe actually can nego.
2) N'flair: kak nora pondan tu serious pandang luaran org. OMG!!! i pegang this one baju, i tanye "berapa ya tempah macam ni?" she said..."yang tu kalau tempah mahal, 900! kat sini yang tu paling murah!" (then dia pandang atas bawah) goddddddddd gile pandang rendah just becoz saye tak bawa any of my high-end handbag dat day and didnt walk w 4inches heels? oh here you go nyah, now let the world knows how bad your service. harus lingkup pasni.
3) Butik Saidatul Nisa: dapat layanan yang baik dan simple. tak sombong. walaupun saya berpakaian cikai, Liza melayan saya dengan baik walaupon ade customer who came in later yang lebih diva. first come first serve.
4) Feena beautytouch: budak ni buat make-up. tak famous pun, but i saje2 je suruh dia makeup mengabiskan duit i. baik budaknya harga pun ok. tapi dia kena improve skill buat rambut.
5) Jakel: Layan saya dengan tak pasti.
6) Binwani's: Melayan saya dengan baik tapi malangnya takde pilihan yang berkenan di hati saya.
7) Euro Moda: sangat baik layanannya. angkat gulung kain tu sana sini. I duduk atas sofa je arah2 (*note that saya comot dan selekeh ya?) but due to the kegigihan, the next day i datang again (well dressed la kan? SA tu still igt i and menyambut dengan lebih mesra; dia ada instinct i datang to buy kot...) with Mummy X and bought the pure white solstiss french lace ;) ***nanti saya amik picture share with you girls k?

---PENGAJARAN---
*Life is like a wheel.... jangan sombong wahai entrepreneurs. Mungkin sekarang anda famous, who knows one day you'll be begging for jobs. kan?
*Be professional. kindly treat everybody equally.
*Don't judge a book by it's cover. tak semestinya yang selekeh itu tidak berduit dan tak semestinya yang melaram itu banyak duit. Sekalipun the person datang comot dan selekeh layanlah sewajarnya. jangan memperlekehkan orang. jangan sesekali memandang rendah kepada orang lain. (saya pun ala kadar je, tapi sebagai manusia tak wajar diperlekehkan)

friendly reminder: none of you have to agree with me, but whoever hv the same (or not the same) experience with the same vendor, please share.

  1. khareyan events i half2..i dah nak ambil diorg after dah meet up everything semua dah settle..last minute cakap not enough chairs to rent so she is giving me 2 colours berlainanlah, 60 kerusi tak cukup..dont u think its a lot and that she should have known its not enough..and then i pun marah sikit coz i took her because she said she has enough chairs..last2 i canceled, i wanted to take them pun because of the chiavary chairs dpt murah..plus they havnt done much wedding deco..so i really have no idea whetther they do a good job or not..and i really dont understand why pelamin dia RM 8k...


    rass: considering i've heard good reviews on them sadly my experience with them agak tak baik..i called dia tak layan and suruh e-mail apa yg i nak and then bagi quotation...lepas tu nak meet up to finalise things, they canceled on me half an hour before..i dah keluar rumah k...of course i bengang..and lepas tu tak habis2 postponed, ckp nak call back byk kali but they never did..my mum said kalau sebelum pun dah susah then jgn pursue further..plus she called me na..i hate poeple calling me na...dahlah belum kenal lagi ni...

    but semua ni takda rezeki..maybe I caught them at a bad day, or wrong timing...tapi alhamdulillah finally i found a decorator yg alhamdulillah all ok..

  2. sab: glad that u share ur experience! really khareyan only ada 60chairs? in the website kate 'designer' and the photos look convincing... for real! but seriously dia layah i through mail dengan baik. but ONE canopy for 40pax WITHOUT FOOD cost almost 2k... i wont splurge dat much. rassweddings mmg i dah blacklist em like... takkan la 7 times i text em, call sumore, mail sumore, tkakan not even once dia igt. and lagi buat i marah, EVERYTIME dia akan ckp she'll mail. this one time i calld at 6pm, dia kate malam nanti dia mail.. so at 9 i cek mailbox still takde so i sms dia lagi pukul 9sumthing. she replied 'will do' but til the next morning takde ok?! tu la, akhirnya i terpakse akur with mum's choice, suri catering (no wonder suri stays in the business for so long, servis elok, makan sedap, etc) sbb tu org kate, parents always know best... penat jek i survey kononnya i told my mum i can find cheaper ones w good quality. hik hik hik

    Rass- yes, rmai orang complain pasal dia, paling best oneof the minah ni call and meet her then dia mcm x layan baik, after dia pi umah minah tu tgk besar je terus dia mcm layan. and now girl tu plak buat ignore dgn dia.haihh mcm2..
    arma- i pun ada dgr juga.
    eeemm one thing i nk tanya u. pernh dgr seri menanti catering x? any comment?quite ok, not too expensive.

  5. Sorry if u guys had a bad experience with Rass Wedding. To me rass's service is excellent. The day i called her, i requested a meeting the next day terus dpt jumpa. Since they always put their quotation in their blog so no need for me to email and ask for quotation anymore. After the 1st meeting, i still want to do a bit survey then the 2nd time i met her was at pameran pengantin. I put down some money to book the date and she emailed me the receipt the next day. I always sms/call her if i see something i like or a new pelamin design in her blog and she replied almost instantly. When she replied a bit late, she would apologize and say she was bz or whatever. The 3rd meeting we had was at my office during my lunch hour which was very convenient for me. Not many vendors that i know would do dat. Some even insists that i come to their place only and not meet up at a more convenient place for both. Even her package is cheap comparing to other decorators, i could nego somemore. I took the RM 3.5k package with everything included and she even throw me 30 fresh flower centrepieces. For free!

    jaja: probably rass's the type yan gnak jumpa teros? but as a newbie in this industry. but saya upset sbb everytime call/sms dia beria cakap "ok ok ok! nanti akak mail malam ni jugak! EVERYTIME kot! but good for you dapat excellent service from them plus the 30 free centerpiece lagik ;)

  9. jaja: exactly! sekalipon famous/meletop ke ape ke.... if service is super bad, dorang takkan tahan lama... time ni tgh laku bolehla dorang diva, they hav to remember there'll be lots of gret newbies yg akan replace em...

    I amik Rass for my wedding, the service ada ups and downs, kadang-kadang dia memang lambat return my sms or phone calls, nak set appointment pun punyala susah, asyik postponed, tapi once dah meet up, she is a really nice person. The price mmg cheap compare to others obviously.

    I personally think as they are getting famous, banyak event, itu yang tak terlayan ramai orang. Me towards the majlis pun, still tak dapat tunjuk pelamin design and etc, masa tu afraid that dia punya work tak meet with our expectation, sebab dia macam last minute semua, i macam dah frust-frust and tawakal je apa nak jadi jadila with the hall and pelamin. Night of reception day, orang hall bising2 sebab dia datang lambat and decor hall and pelamin till freaking 6am, my family pun tak sempat tengok masa die decor.

    Tapi, esoknya, the outcome memang memuaskan hati semua. The pelamin was sweet simple as i requested and the foods memang semua puji sampai ada yang sms cakap teringat-ingat makanan. hehe. Service also excellent.

    Ted & syahrin - both r my husband's frens. both are good, nice person but syahrin is one super busy man, you need to call him terus kot? he travels a lot to indonesia doing his business nowadays so excuse his bznesss.

    Jakel - i dun like them becoz the staff are all pushy. Though I still buy kain from them, sebab of the quality la off course. Masa beli kain nikah paling bengang, I wanted white shantung and white songket to mix and match for my kurung nikah, tapi die dok tunjuk beaded chiffon and masa dia cakap nak calculate price, alih-alih dia datang dah potong kain-kain tu? apa kau nak jawab? memang i marah sungguh time tu! haih, but still i go there frequently to find nice materials!

  11. zatix: tu la... our fellow blogger, diah pun puas hati w rass punye service and food. sbb i baca her entry hati i terdetik to call rass. but seriously mmg dissapointing. pasal syahrin i oso think he's very very busy. pasal jakel, mmg betol! dorang sangat pushy! tiap seminit tanye 'jadi, nak yang mane?" tak sudah2... anyway, here's a tip. kalau kejadian dah terpotong, dah terpunch jadi... let any SA tau "saya dari PENGGUNA. i can make report on this sbb u should ask my concern if you nak potong/punch. so since you tak tanye i, itu salah u, u bear the cost" if dia banyak songeh, u cakap "mana you manager? i nak tau nama dia nak lodge police report against you, your manager and your company" seriously we have to tegakkan hak kita.

  12. eh terbalik miss x, i wanted 400 chairs and awal2, i ask dia cukup tak and she kept on saying cukup...but when i met them they were really nice and all, siap belanja us lunch lagi...but somehow it was not meant to be...

    with rass pun, i agree with jaja, a lot of bloggers have had good experience with them....our fellow blogger diah, i think kawan dia alone dah 3 org took rass as well..and fizz pun took them for nikah...but sadly i dont know why it was so hard for me to meet them...i know november and december is a busy month for everyone..but still we are potential future customers, and its sad to be treated that way...

    but thats life kan, its hard to treat everyone baik all the time...sometimes kalau time moody tu susah nak layang org dgn baik..

  13. oh ya for me terbalik...euromoda sadly i was layaned by a very rude sales person..the kain baju melayu he said was not 100%silk, it turns out that it was after we dah balik baru we sll sedar..we bengang and had to go back
    kl to change back the kain..from then on i hvnt gone to euromoda...

    kat jakel first time pergi the sales person was very baik, but the 2nd time I dapat a pushy person..

    but to me personally i prefer jakel for kain wedding because it has more choices..and it has a better discount..

    p/s: my friend pergi sana, she wanted beaded lace but couldnt afford it..the owner saw her, and asked whats your budget?, my friend said RMx..suddely the owner gave her the kain with that price..fyi, that almost an 80% discount...dia cakap its jakels weddding present to her..

  14. sab: tu la... maybe kite salah timing ngn rass weddings kot. huhu anyway, OMG! seriously ur friend dapat kain with like 80% discount? bestnye! ok nanti nak kahwin pi jakel carik owner dia! huhuhuhu kat euromoda i dapat discount coz the lace last piece, bukak dari gulung tinggal 1.8meters jek ok? pastu dia kte cannot potong kene amik all.per meter is rm450 patotnye around 800 la kan? i dapat 650 jek. yippie! ;)

    sumtimes time diorang sangat bz, diorang akan lupa nk reply sms..dan janji macam2..biasa kan?since diorang baru..mungkin tak cukup kaki tangan lagi kan?

    for me rass wedding..i ada dgr good and bad nya..i tau sbb i pun dlm line2 ni..so tak mo mengaibkan business org.. :)but kerja diorang kemas..

    semuanya terpulang pada nasib i guess..

    amy: sbb tu org kate if nak business kene komited... mmg ada customer yg ade good experience, ade yg bad experience. but rass at the very first place should say something like "i hanta quotation kat u dalam masa seminggu sbb i busy sikit skrg ni"... but everytime i sms/call/mail dia dia akan ckp "ok, malam ni i hantar" like.... lebih 10 kali kot...huhuhu but anyhow it's back to one judgment. everybody has the right to voice out, article 10 freedom of speech ;p muahx!

  18. hey babe! i pun byk gak buat wedding spies..hihi..n mmg ramai org2 ni yg kerek, one of them id readzul design. went to their butik the other day, sombong gile ok! ckp ngn org mcm tak nak buat bisnes je..tak welcoming lgsg..tp mmg no doubt i really like their mini dias design..harga pun ok..tp lps jumpa diorg, i fikir blk nak amik diorg ke tak..most likely, no!

    tp ramai gak yg friendly and helpful..ada this lady from cantikmanisbridal, kak zura, is a veryyy nice and helpful lady. lps one email je, she came out with 3 designs of mini dias for me, siap lukis dlm powerpoint lg..pastu dia very reasonable with the price n tak lokek utk tambah itu ini with the same price.

    so, ure so right, with their attitude, they might loose their potential customers like us. babe u kawin 2011 bln bape? i pun 2011

  19. adwina: hey darl! i pon rase entrepreneurs especially yg related dgn services takboleh sombong. it won't take em anywhere pon. we can always giv and take kan? i think it's good to hav this, mungkin ade yg tak setuju but i personally think it's good biar entrepreneurs pikir byk kali sebelum bertindak. so, if ade networking spy on bridal services mesti semua gigih buat baik sbb takot kene complaint among bloggers;p

    I know both shahrin and ted adnan coz my bf is a friend of them but he is a freelance photographer, derang nih full time lah :p .. ted and shahrin is actually kalangan the otais la jugak, famous here and brunei, and god knows where else.. lucky lah you dapat photographer istana.. hehehehe

    i dah quit mintak quotation from vendors.. mmg if vendors deco and pelamin nih when I call, they layan dengan baik, tapi quotation tak sampai2.. i siap sms email (still tunggu she and rassweddings quotation dah sebulan dah ni) and details lagi even I dah talk to them over the phone... tapi tak semua lah begitu.. ada jugak yang layan.. rezeki mereka lah kot...

    i was bloghopping and ended up here. cant remember how i got here.

    my tunang attire was made by Fidz. Did you meet the owner? she was very kind to me and my mother. So my mother tak sampai hati to not take her to do one of my wedding dresses. I hope it's not Aunty Ton u're talking about. Because she was very helpful too with designing and patient with my demands.

    Just giving a little positive view on their boutique :) Hope you don't mind.
